GREAT PRACTICE

TEAM NCB. GREAT PRACTICE! I HAD TO SIT IN MY CAR AND WATCH U GUYS PRACTICE. SOMETIMES JUST SITTING ON THE SIDELINES CAN TEACH YOU A LOT AND I WOULD SAY, WE ARE MUCH BETTER THAN THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON. THERE IS NO REASON WHY WE SHOULDNT WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. WE HAVE ALL THE GREAT WEAPONS AND GREAT ATHLETES. I AM GLAD WE TOOK THE ENVY US LOSS AND TURNED IT AROUND TO BE MORE AGRESSIVE AND A LOT SHARPER ON THE FIELD. NOW, LETS JUST FINISH THE JOB AND BRING THE TROPHY HOME!!!! AGAIN, GREAT PRACTICE RUN EVERYONE!!!

First off, I am truely grateful with EVERYTHING that happend yesterday! What we need to work on shows how much better we can get come championships. Before I write a long post, Kudo's to Erick aka Blackmamba 88 for his comments. Our True test is every team we face, but our greatest test is OURSELVES. We play the 2 best teams in the league. NV US and 2k SWOLLERS. So come playoffs we know what we are ready for and who to look out for.

That loss.....

was all on me guys. I didn't come thru when I needed to. I hate losing more than I get joy winning. So now that I am out of my depressed state from letting myself and the team down I can move on and think about our bigger goal....winning the championship. Sorry, I was just laughing at myself at how pitiful I hit today. I don't want to take anything from the other team but we should have whooped em. I know if we see them again in the playoffs we will. SOme positives from tonight's game, Ashley was crushing the ball, Jimmy and Bo were Gold Glover's in the outfield once again, Richie pitched good and we rallied back as a team. We definitely played well overall as a team but there is still work to be done. We definitely need to work on hitting to right field or find players that are willing to hit that way. If they want to pick on our girl, we should start doing the same to them. We need work on relays, hitting the cut off man, work on situational defense. I myself am guilty of thinking everyone understands where they need to throw the ball or where the play is. Let us know where you see we can improve, players let us know where you need help, so we can keep getting better. I believe with our pitching and defense, 10 runs will be enough win us most games. Let's just take it one game at a time. So let's get back to work, practice hard, keep getting better and focus on whoopin the shit out of the next team. It should be No Contest!

09/22/10 PRACTICE 09/23/10 GAME 3

PRACTICE WILL BE HELD AT THE USUAL LOCATION MADREN FIELD AT 530. IF GATES ARE NOT OPEN, PRACTICE WILL BE AT COLLEGE PARK. FOR THOSE COMING FROM RICHMOND, EXIT 37 GOING TOWARDS DISCOVERY KINGDOM. EXIT DISCOVERY KINGDOM, MAKE RIGHT AT THE LIGHT AND PARK IS ON THE LEFT SIDE ( ACROSS FROM THE GAS STATION). PARK IS RIGHT OFF THE FREEWAY SO YOU CANT MISS IT.

TOMORROW'S GAME, EVERYONE PLEASE GET THERE NO LATER THAN 530. GAME STARTS AT 615 AND WE NEED TO BE ON TIME TO AVOID A FORFEIT. WE WERE LUCKY LAST WEEK SINCE THERE WAS NO OTHER GAMES AFTER US, BUT THE RULE IS, IF WE ARE NOT READY ON TIME WIT WILL BE A FORFEIT. SO ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 530 TO STRETCH AND WARMUP. THIS TEAM IS OUR TOUGHEST CHALLENGE OUT OF THE 2 TEAMS WE PLAYED. BUT AS LONG AS WE COME AS A TEAM, WE WILL LEAVE WINNING AS A TEAM!

Almost Game Time!

All,

Our game is at 615. Please arrive a little earlier than usual due to the Napa traffic. I say 530 at THE LATEST!!! We will be facing a good team...again... so make sure we get our stretches and FULL team earlier than usual. The end of the day result is one team will come out undefeated... WHICH IS [NCB] of course!!! YEEE!!

NCB 28, Mama's Boy Auto Body 5

I was unexpectedly able to attend the game against Mama's Boy Auto Body. Actually, I was there for all three games played Thursday night. Of the teams I saw, NCB were clearly the class of the league. 2K-Swolers looked like they might be able to give you a good game but I think you can take them. N.V. Us didn't play this week so I couldn't evaluate them.

A Request For Photos

I don't have many pictures from the first game. Mariza took a few shots in the parking lot before the game but apparently there wasn't anyone available to take pictures during the game. If you have any friends or family members who can take some game shots, it would go a long way toward dressing up your team's website.

For now, the few shots I have will rotate on the home page and in the scrapbook window.

Most of you don't know me. I work with Richie at SSA and we're teammates with the PC Bricks in Richmond. Richie told me about your new team playing in Napa and since I know a thing or two about running a team website and blog, I offered to get your team set up. So, here we are.
