WE WILL BE PLAYING A 2-0 TEAM. WHICH MEANS WE ARE GOING TO BE THE 1ST TEAM TO DEFEAT THEM. JUST A REMINDER THAT GAME TIME IS 615. I SENT OUT A TEXT MESSAGE LIKE ALWAYS TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS ON TIME AT 530 FOR WARMUPS AND STRETCHES. WE WILL DO GOOD TODAY AND COME OUT ON TOP.
KEEP IN MIND, WE HAVE ERWIN AND JUSTIN BEING OUR BASE COACHES TODAY DUE TO INJURY SO MAKE SURE U GUYS LISTEN TO THEM AT ALL TIMES WHEN ON BASE. LETS HAVE FUN AND CONTINUE OUR FLAWLESS SEASON! WE CAN DO THIS!!!
I believe the diamond at JFK #3 is oriented in the same direction as the diamond at North Vallejo Community Park where you practiced yesterday. If so, it was beneficial to practice under those conditions.
ReplyDeleteFor throws coming from shortstop and second base, your first baseman is going to have the sun in his/her eyes for at least the first couple of innings. Throws from left-centerfield to second base may also come right out of the sun. A cap and sunglasses may be essential until the sun drops below the horizon.
Perhaps you can test this out during your pregame warmups. If you find your middle infielders are having trouble seeing balls thrown from centerfield, it may be best to have your centerfielder throw low and skip the ball into second base.
Also, be prepared to take advantage of your opponents if they're struggling to see the ball in the sun. If they fail to adjust for it, extra bases may be there for the taking.
Good luck tonight, NCB! Richie, just keep doin' like you're doin'. Get ahead of the hitters and make them put the ball in play. You have a good defense behind you that will turn most of the batted balls into outs.
